When I moved out for college, I instantly felt the weight of the real world, and I realized pretty quickly that school taught me absolutely nothing about actual financial literacy. Trying to figure it out on my own was a massive headache—online articles were exhausting to read, and every decent tool I found wanted a monthly subscription.I got so tired of the gatekeeping that I just decided to build the platform I wish someone had handed me: Ance.It’s a completely free app, but it's not just a bunch of boring articles. It is small lessons with the goal of actually walking you through your financial journey step-by-step. Instead of just explaining how things work, Ance explains how it directly impacts you and ways to use the banking system in your favor. It guides you to the right banks based on your location, current offers, and goals. As you master new topics, your personal ANCE score levels up. As your score climbs, it’s proof that you’ve got the knowledge to confidently handle your finances.
Skip ahead:
If you already know your stuff, we aren't going to make you sit through a lesson. Every module has a short quiz option at the start—pass it, skip the lesson entirely, and move on. We value your time.
Real-Time Guidance:
Your ANCE score is our indicator for what you are ready for. The app guides you through major financial milestones in order. As you progress, we’ll help you open your first checking account, then move to savings, and then safely build credit, retirement account, money market, etc. There is so much to learn.
Pick the bank for you:
We use real-time metrics to help you find the right bank for you for each occasion. Based on location -- there are plenty of regional banks, current offers -- offers for new accounts are changing constantly, see them all at once and up to date, and what you expect out of a bank -- many banks differ in international travel, loans based on history with them, some are fully digital, and fees. Not only can you view all the different options at once, but you can directly apply without the hassle.
